Schools is looking for part-time instructors to teach real estate
agents and
prospective
brokers the following subjects:
• Continuing Education (15-hour classes in taxes,
foreclosures
and "hot mortgage topics"; 6 hours in finance) Depending upon demand, the courses are offered every one to four years on Monday and Wednesday evening, 6:15 to 9:30 p.m. or Wednesdays or Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for seven consecutive weeks. Continuing education is offered in shorter bursts. The textbooks are published by Dearborn.

Schools: our staff does all the clerical and administrative work such as
tracking attendance, adds and drops, and proctoring and grading final exams. The ideal candidate has a master’s or bachelor’s degree in real estate or a related field, a real estate broker license, relevant credentials such as CRS, GRI, DREI, MAI, CSEO or CEI, and at least five years of varied, relevant, work experience. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not required. The ability to keep the students’ interest while teaching them useful information is more important than an academic background. All Anthony instructors practice and teach the highest ethical standards. Since 1965 we have been dedicated to improving the quality of real estate services provided on the San Francisco Peninsula by educating its practitioners. All applications are strictly confidential.
Video Camera Operator/Technician, Foster City, California Description: operate camera in classroom during live classes in mortgage loan brokerage, appraisal, real estate principles and office administration. Take notes in a video log of the topics and page numbers covered, if time permits. After class, finalize the DVD (mini DV and VHS tapes may also be recorded as backups). Classes are Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 to 4:30 p.m. or Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:15 to 9:30 p.m. Your schedule is flexible: you may work any combination of days and times, e.g., just mornings or afternoons or just Wednesdays or any combination as coordinated with other videographers. You may take the courses you record for credit if you wish (no charge). Requirements: ability to operate tripod-mounted video camera: pan, tilt, zoom--keep instructor in frame as s/he moves around the classroom, capture white board illustrations and student questions; record identifying information and copyright information at beginning and end of tapes or disks. Set up, level and put away tripod, connect cables to camera, DVD recorder, and VHS recorder/monitor. Label DVDs and tape cassettes accurately and legibly. Work inconspicuously and silently so as not to disrupt class (unless you are taking the course for credit). May include occasional field trips to appraise a house or visit a title company, the county assessor or a construction site.
